Darcy is passionate about helping people understand what it right for their body, as both a wellness coach and a yoga teacher. She understands that everyone is different and the most important part of being healthy is to find what works for your body and your lifestyle.
She began teaching yoga as a fitness class, but soon learned it could be so much more. In order to deepen her personal practice and become a better teacher, she completed 235 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Devanadi Yoga in Minneapolis. Darcy uses yoga in her own life as a way to bring balance and stability and trained in Relax and Renew® Restorative Yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater.
Yoga classes with Darcy incorporate asana (poses), breathing techniques and meditation for a more traditional style of yoga. She uses a light hearted and fun atmosphere to make all student levels welcome. She understands that how a pose looks is not as important as how it feels and that you are the expert at what works for your own body.
In both yoga classes and wellness coaching, Darcy believes you need to be ready to challenge yourself in order to move forward and get where you want to be. That doesn’t always mean doing something harder; it may mean doing something different. You have everything you need, right now, to take the next step forward!
