If you have worked out in our facilities before, or visited our website, you know that Total Fitness is all about empowering you. We want to empower you to be the best version of yourself that you can be. To achieve that goal, it will be vital for you to work your body and address your diet. And we can help you with both. As you begin to think about your total fitness plan, you may be asking yourself what days of the week are be best for you to exercise.
When is Exercise Best for You?
The answer is that it really depends on you and the unique factors that characterize your approach to health and fitness. If you have a busy work schedule during the week, the best days of the week for you to exercise may be on weekends and days off. If you are limited as to when your best days to exercise are because of work, you may have to define the term “best days to exercise” based on something other than when your body and mind are most ready to exercise. If that is the case, it is okay. Most of us have limitations placed on us by work or school or other factors. So it becomes more important to make the most of your workouts when you do have the opportunity to exercise. Squeezing in even a 30 minute workout several times a week can be a great starting point.
For some people, exercising in the morning helps to jumpstart their day. Exercising early in the morning and then heading to work helps them feel more energetic and able to meet the demands of the work day. But for others, the thought of doing anything more strenuous than lifting a coffee cup to their lips before 10am is unthinkable. For them, working out could work better later in the day, after work, so that they can use the energy they have built up during the day. The most important thing in such cases is to know what you prefer, how your body responds, and then maximize each workout you engage in.
